The NCDI Poverty Network is administered by the Co-Secretariat, with hubs based at the Center for Integration Science in Global Health Equity at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, USA, and at Universidade Eduardo Mondlane in Maputo, Mozambique.

The Co-Secretariat provides operational support to the NCDI Poverty Network Steering Committee for coordination, communication, administration, and fund mobilization for activities of the NCDI Poverty Network.

The Co-Secretariat works in teams across multiple areas of work:

  • Research to inform the design, implementation, evaluation, and scale-up of the NCDI Poverty Network’s integrated care delivery strategy, PEN-Plus

  • Policy to develop policies based on equity-informed priority-setting and service delivery design

  • Training to give mid-level providers the knowledge and skills to lead decentralized PEN-Plus clinics

  • Implementation to provide technical support for implementation of PEN-Plus in lower-income countries

  • Advocacy & Communication to promote technical, policy, and financing support for PEN-Plus
