Malawi NCDI Poverty Commission launches report

Malawi's Minister of Health and Population, the Honorable Atupele Muluzi, formally launched the Malawi NCDI Poverty Commission Report on August 21, at an event attended by over 100 stakeholders at the Sunbird Capital Hotel in Lilongwe.

Commission Co-Chair Dr. Jones Masiye presented key findings and recommendations from the Commission and the Chair of the Parliamentary Health Committee, the Honorable Julliana Lunguzi, spoke on a panel that also included the Deputy Director of Clinical Services from the Ministry of Health, Dr. Nedson Fasiko, and representatives of UNICEF, WHO, and the Patient and Community Welfare Foundation of Malawi (PAWEM).
